Displaying SpeciesExplorer.org to my co-workers
Hi,
Outside my cube, so that everyone who walks by sees it, I will attach a monitor to my laptop and display SpeciesExplorer.org for all to see. I will hang a sign under the monitor that reads "Ask me about this site," so that my co-workers ask me about SpeciesExplorer.org.
I work for marine biologists and I hope to begin a discussion within my organization about the functional requirements we would like added to sites such as SpeciesExplorer.org.
Thank you for volunteering to help Citizen Scientists. I know that it is time-consuming, painstaking and costly at the personal level to both lament that technology often alienates us from the natural world and then to do something positive about it.

Thanks for the cubicle promotion campaign, much appreciated! While my primary focus is on "regular people", ie non-scientists being able to easily use Species Explorer, it will be great to brainstorm ways that professionals can use it as a productive tool as well for their ongoing research.
