I took this photo of two beautiful coyotes wandering through the fresh snow in the woods behind our house in February 2009. I've seen single coyotes in the area before but never two, and never in the snow. They're much easier to spot. In the left foreground is our swing set to give you an idea of how close they were to the house.
Holly, our cat, was kept inside for a few days after this photo.:)

Great photo!

A neighbor of mine was telling me recently that Coyotes hunt alone, and just call to each other to let others know where they are. But I've heard also that they work in packs like wolves. Maybe both?

What a great photo. Out of

What a great photo. Out of curiosity are coyotes dangerous or will they run away if a human is near by?
