About

The sable antelope is a large antelope which inhabits wooded savanna in East and Southern Africa, from the south of Kenya to South Africa, with a separated population in Angola.

Fun Fact

Sable antelope bulls have scimitar-shaped horns reaching up to 1.5 metres (5 ft) that they use in fierce kneeling fights, and dominant males turn jet-black while subordinates remain brown.
