The squirrel glider is a nocturnal gliding possum and is one of the wrist-winged gliders of the genus Petaurus.

Fun Fact

Squirrel gliders can glide up to 90 metres in a single flight and change direction mid-air by dropping one arm — they are often confused with sugar gliders but are nearly twice the weight.
