About

The steenbok is a common small antelope of southern and eastern Africa. It is sometimes known as the steinbuck or steinbok.

Fun Fact

Steenbok bury their dung in scraped-out holes — unusual for antelopes — and both sexes fiercely defend small, year-round territories, making them one of the most territorial of all antelope species.
