Sommer's Sulawesi rat is a species of rodent in the family Muridae from Sulawesi. It is the only species in the genus Sommeromys and was described by Musser & Durden in 2002.
Fun Fact
The stomach of the only known specimen contained some nematodes, fly eggs, and fragments of insects.
Habitat
Occurs in other high montane forests of Sulawesi.
Diet
Feeds on insects.
