The greater bamboo bat is a species of vesper bat in the family Vespertilionidae. It has a wide range within Southern and Southeast Asia, including Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam. They have been found at elevations up to 1,500 metres (4,900 ft).
