The desert night lizard is a night lizard native to the Southern California Eastern Sierra and the San Gabriel Mountains into Baja California, southern Nevada, southwestern Utah and extreme western areas of Arizona.

Desert night lizards don't lay eggs — they give birth to live young and form long-term family groups, with offspring staying with their parents for up to 3 years.
Habitat
Found in western Arizona, central California coastal ranges, Colorado, the Sierra Nevada, and Utah.
Diet
Eats termites, small insects, spiders and other arthropods.
