The grey teal is a dabbling duck found in open wetlands in Australia and New Zealand.

Fun Fact

They found out that 13 out of 32 long-distance movements (> 150 km (93 mi)) recorded were due to rainfall and/or flooding events that occurred up to 1,050 km (650 mi) from where the ducks initially were.
