The coppery-chested jacamar is a species of bird in the family Galbulidae. It is found in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.

Fun Fact

The Colombia record, at El Carmen, Nariño Department, was at 1,600 m (5,200 ft) and the Peru record, on the upper Comaina River, Amazonas Department, was at 1,430 m (4,690 ft).
