The buff-cheeked greenlet is a species of bird in the family Vireonidae, the vireos, greenlets, and shrike-babblers. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela.

The buff-cheeked greenlet was originally described in 1873 as Hylophilus muscicapinus.
Habitat
Found in Brazil south of the Amazon between the Madeira and Tapajós rivers and south to Mato Grosso and southern Goiás and into extreme northeastern Bolivia.
