The cinnamon-crested spadebill is a species of bird in the family Tyrannidae, the tyrant flycatchers. It is found in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela.

Habitat
Range from Meta Department in central Colombia east through Amazonas and Bolívar states in southern Venezuela, the Guianas, and northern Brazil from the upper Negro River to the Atlantic in Amapá anmd northern Pará.

Feeds on arthropods.
