The black-necked aracari or black-necked araçari is a near-passerine bird in the toucan family Ramphastidae. It is found in Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela.

Aracaris are unusual among toucans in roosting communally—up to six adults pack into a single tree cavity, folding their tails over their backs to fit.
Habitat
A wide variety of semi-open landscapes including edges and clearings in wet and sand-ridge forests
Diet
Feeds on fruit and is important as a disperser of fruit tree seeds.
